In 2021, during my undergraduate studies at George Mason University, I had the privilege of taking a narrative design class led by the esteemed Josiah Lebowitz, a profound narrative designer and author of a respected book on storytelling in games: Interactive Storytelling for Video Games. His insights and guidance were instrumental in shaping my understanding of narrative construction and interactive storytelling. Recognizing my dedication and hard work throughout many of his classes, Josiah graciously provided me with a letter of recommendation. This endorsement was particularly meaningful to me, as it came from an industry expert I profoundly respect. One of my key projects, ‘Save the Dinosaurs’, holds a special place in my heart. To me it’s not just a story; it’s a testament to the time, thought, and passion I’ve invested in it. This narrative is a reflection of my creative journey, encompassing my growth as a storyteller and a game designer.
Note: Since penning ‘Save the Dinosaurs’ back in 2021, my writing skills have significantly evolved, reflecting a deeper mastery of narrative techniques and a more refined storytelling craft. Enjoy!
